Buying Bus Tickets
Remember, your beer festival ticket does not entitle you to travel on the Beer Festival buses. You will need to buy your bus ticket in advance of travel. The Cotswold Beer Festival bus drivers do not handle money.
This year we have two types of bus ticket. For £5 you can buy a ticket valid on both the Cheltenham and Winchcombe services; if you only want to travel between Winchcombe and Postlip you can buy a ‘Winchcombe only’ ticket for just £2. Both types of ticket are valid for as many journeys as you wish to make during the weekend.
The Cheltenham service starts from, and returns to, the bus stop on Portland Street, opposite Holy Trinity church.
Unless already full, the buses from Cheltenham will call at the racecourse park and ride. (On Friday and Saturday an early bus will start from the racecourse).
On Friday the first buses will start at 17.45 from the racecourse and 18.00 from Portland Street; the last return journey will leave Postlip at 23.40. Please note that to comply with driving hours regulations there will be no buses between 20.40 and 21.40.
On Saturday the first buses will start at 10.45 from the racecourse and 11.00 from Portland Street; the last return journey will leave Postlip at 21.40.
On Sunday the first bus will start at 11.00 from the Portland Street, calling at the racecourse at 11.05; the last return journey will leave Postlip at 15.50. Please note that to comply with driving hours regulations there will be no buses between 13.00 and 14.30.
